Important Announcement Regarding Inclusive Jobs

24th April 2024

We’re sorry to say Inclusive Jobs and Neuroinclusive Jobs are being put on hold.

Dear Community,

We hope this message finds you safe and well. We know things have been a bit quiet recently on Inclusive Jobs and the Neuroinclusive Jobs platform while the team have been working hard behind the scenes.

Unfortunately, today we are writing the message we hoped we would never have to send. It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Inclusive Jobs and Neuroinclusive Jobs will be put on hold for the foreseeable future. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly, however we are at a point financially where it is necessary. The team still has absolute faith and belief in the mission we have been trying to achieve but unfortunately despite our best efforts and working tirelessly we have not been able to raise any investment capital or get enough employers on board to make the business sustainable in the current economic climate.

We appreciate that you have paid a subscription for the Neuroinclusive Jobs platform and we are sorry that we are not able to continue to provide this for you or offer any refunds.

While this is certainly a sad message for us to write today, we are not totally disheartened. As we reflect on our journey together, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support and engagement that you, our partners and community members have shown us. Your trust, your stories, and your unwavering commitment to each other have truly inspired us. Our dedication to championing neurodiversity, fostering inclusivity, and advocating for positive change remains as steadfast as ever.

We began working on Inclusive Jobs and Neuroinclusive Jobs last October, and still passionately believe that neurodivergent people need a place that allows them to find roles and careers that suit them, but ultimately this was not the right time for us.

What are we doing next?

Some of our team members are moving to neurobetter, a charity working to find ways to support neurodivergent people with mental health conditions. You can find it at neurobetter.org, on Facebook, or Instagram. We know mental health challenges affect many neurodivergent people, including us, and are hopeful we can improve things as a charity. We'd love to see you there (but please note this is a separate organisation and we won’t be able to respond to any queries about Inclusive Jobs).

Where can I get help?

As we’re sure you can understand, our website, the community platform, and our social media channels will be closing in the next 24 hours. We’ve pulled together some resources that may help you.

You can view or download our eBook “Making work awesome for everyone: 30 tips for inclusivity” here – https://uploadnow.io/f/bQCr6s8 – it contains lots of tips you might want to share with a current or future employer.

Here are some other organisations that might be able to help you:

We’ve worked with and would recommend the following coaches, who may be accessible through Access To Work in the UK if you are eligible:

If you’re in need of help:

We’d like to extend our thanks to everyone who has given their time on this journey, and to you, thank you for being part of the Neuroinclusive Jobs community.

With gratitude, hope, and best wishes,

The Inclusive Jobs team
