Community Guidelines

  1. What's In These Guidelines?

    1. These Community Guidelines set out the content standards that apply when you upload content via our Services or Community, make contact with other users on our Services and via our Community, link to our Services or interact with them or our Community in any other way. It should be read alongside our Community Membership Terms.

  2. Prohibited Uses

    1. You may not use our Services or engage in our Community:

      1. If you are under 18 years.
      2. In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
      3. In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
      4. For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way.
      5. To bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate any person.
      6. To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our Content Standards, as set out below.
      7. To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).
      8. To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.
      9. In any way that involves child sexual exploitation or abuse.
      10. To upload terrorist content.
    2. You also agree:

      1. Not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of our Services or any content posted on or made available through them in contravention of the provisions of our Community Membership Terms.
      2. Not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt:
      3. any part of our Services or Community;
      4. any equipment or network on which our Services is stored or through which they are made available;
      5. any software used in the provision of our Services; or
      6. any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party.
  3. Content Standards

    1. These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to our Services and Community (Contribution).
    2. You must comply with the spirit of the following standards as well as the letter. The standards apply to each part of any Contribution as well as to its whole.
    3. We will determine, in our sole discretion, whether a Contribution breaches the Content Standards.
    4. A Contribution must:

      1. Be accurate (where it states facts).
      2. Be genuinely held (where it states opinions).
      3. Comply with the law applicable in England and Wales and in any country from which it is posted.
    5. A Contribution must not:

      1. be defamatory of any person.
      2. be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory.
      3. bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate.
      4. Encourage, promote or provide instructions for deliberate self-harm.
      5. Encourage, promote or provide instructions for suicide.
      6. Encourage, promote or provide instructions for an eating disorder or behaviours associated with an eating disorder.
      7. Promote sexually explicit material.
      8. Include child sexual abuse material.
      9. Incite violence or hatred against particular groups.
      10. Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
      11. Include content that would be considered a criminal offence under laws relating to terrorism, child sexual abuse material, racism or xenophobia.
      12. Infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person.
      13. Include video content that has been or would be likely to be given an R18 certificate by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).
      14. Include video content not suitable for BBFC classification.
      15. Include material that might impair the physical, mental or moral development of persons under the age of 18.
      16. Be likely to deceive any person.
      17. Breach any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence.
      18. Contain illegal content or promote any illegal content or activity.
      19. Be in contempt of court.
      20. Be threatening, abuse or invade another's privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
      21. Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person.
      22. Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.
      23. Give the impression that the Contribution emanates from The Inclusive Jobs Network Limited, if this is not the case.
      24. Advocate, promote, incite any party to commit, or assist any unlawful or criminal act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse.
      25. Contain a statement which you know or believe, or have reasonable grounds for believing, that members of the public to whom the statement is, or is to be, published are likely to understand as a direct or indirect encouragement or other inducement to the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
      26. Contain any advertising for any products or services which you may provided, whether free of charge or otherwise.
    6. For the avoidance of doubt, for any Contribution in the form of video content:

      1. You must tell us immediately, if you upload a video containing any of the following: criminal material (relating to terrorism, sexual exploitation of children, child pornography, racism and xenophobia), unclassified or unclassifiable videos, videos rated R18 or suitable for R18 rating and other material that might impair the physical, mental or moral development of persons under the age of 18 (restricted material).
      2. You must not upload a video containing harmful material.
      3. You must not upload a video containing advertising for any of the following:
        1. cigarettes and other tobacco products, electronic cigarettes or electronic cigarette refill containers, and prescription-only medicine; or
        2. for alcoholic drinks that are not aimed specifically at under 18s and do not encourage immoderate consumption of alcohol.
      4. You must use the functionality provided on our Services to declare whether, as far as you know or can reasonably be expected to know, any video contains advertising.
  4. Breach of this policy

    1. When we consider that a breach of these Community Guidelines has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.
    2. Failure to comply with these Community Guidelines constitutes a material breach of our Community Membership Terms [LINK TO COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP TERMS] upon which you are permitted to use our Services and take part in our Community, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:
      1. Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our Services and Community.
      2. Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any Contribution uploaded by you to our Services and Community.
      3. Issue of a warning to you.
      4. Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.
      5. Further legal action against you.
      6. Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary or as required by law.
    3. We exclude our liability for all action we may take in response to breaches of these Community Guidelines. The actions we may take are not limited to those described above, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
